Community Bible Study
Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowships will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class. We offer IN-PERSON, REMOTE and ON-LINE classes.
- At the Bellville IN-PERSON class only, we also offer Next Generation Children & Youth Classes and AGAPE Classes.
This year all classes will be studiyng Matthew. We will be offering IN-PERSON, REMOTE and ON-LINE classes as follows:
IN-PERSON @ Bellville UMC on Thursday morning from 10:30-12:30 am (Adult Women, Co-ed AGAPE & Next Generation Children & Youth Programs).
IN-PERSON (Women) REMOTE Location @ Brenham Bible Church on Wednesday morning from 9:30-11:15 am.
IN-PERSON (Women) REMOTE Location @ La Grange First Presbyterian on Wednesday morning from 10:30-12:15.
IN-PERSON (Women) REMOTE Location @ First Baptist Church of Columbus on Thursday afternoon from 1:00-2:45 pm.
2 ON-LINE (Women) Classes as follows: Thursday Morning from 10:30-11:30 am (FULL - to join waiting list, email marybellvillecbs@gmail.com)
and Thursday Evening from 7:00-8:00 pm.
Next Gen (junior high/high school girls) will meet in Bellville on Monday nights from 5:30-7:00.
Next Gen (junior high school girls) will meet in Bellville on Sunday evenings from 3:50-5:00.
Next Gen (junior high/high school girls) will also meet in Brenham on Monday nights from 5:30-6:45.

Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry.
Agape
Agape is an in-depth Bible study for adults with special needs who want to study God’s Word together and share His love. We realize that higher functional adults with special needs often get overlooked, so it’s our vision to provide a study environment where you’ll be treated with respect and care.
